Made from malleable brass with a patented spring to maintain the necessary tension against the groove, they can be used over a wide range of temperatures. Conforming to Military Specification MS28776M2, these wipers are especially effective in long-term prevention of rod scoring, abrasion, and contamination of the seals/packing.
