The MBR Buffer Seal is molded from PTFE with a rubber energizer to absorb the shock of hydraulic pressure spikes and help protect the primary rod seal. The standard nitrile O-ring can be replaced with a fluorocarbon O-ring for higher-temperature applications at an additional charge.
