The MPSD 2-Piece Piston Seal is a double-acting piston seal assembly featuring a 97A urethane sealing element and 70A nitrile expander. Its two compact sealing edges concentrate load on the dynamic surface, while the central cavity retains fluid to help reduce friction and wear. Side grooves allow system pressure to engage the expander under working conditions, providing high sealing performance at low pressure along with excellent wear and extrusion resistance.
