The P-V Polyseal Fluorocarbon U-Seal combines the proven Polyseal design with genuine DuPont™ Viton® fluorocarbon for demanding hydraulic applications. A four-lobed expander ring maintains consistent sealing force across the operating pressure range while enhancing low-pressure sealing performance to help prevent leakage ("weeping"). Viton® offers excellent compatibility with a wide range of fluids and continuous operating temperatures from -20°F to +400°F, making it ideal for high-temperature and chemically demanding environments.
The Type B profile shares the same rectangular dimensions as the Deep profile but features a Type B beveled sealing lip. The beveled lip provides improved oil film breaking while retaining the deeper profile geometry.
