The PS1500 Polyurethane Piston Seal is a two-piece piston seal assembly molded from durable 60 Shore D polyurethane and fully interchangeable with PS1400 PTFE piston seals. A 0.002" molybdenum band is integrated into the outer diameter during molding to reduce friction. The polyurethane seal stretches easily over the piston and quickly recovers its shape, eliminating the cold-flow issues commonly associated with PTFE seals.
