The PSU piston seal, also known as a uni-ring, is a one-piece, double-acting laminated seal made from cast polyurethane. Its tough, molybdenum disulfide-impregnated outer layer reduces friction and offers excellent abrasion resistance, while the softer inner layer serves as a static seal and energizes the outer diameter for full bore contact. This versatile seal can replace existing uni-rings or other seals with matching dimensions, including O-rings, O-rings with backups, T-seals, and U-seals.
