These wider base T-Seals are designed to replace standard O-rings and backups in MIL-5514F glands only. The intermediate base (designated "-1") retrofits a 1 O-ring / 1 back-up gland while the wide base (designated "-2") retrofits a 1 O-ring / 2 back-up gland
