HPSI

Intermediate and Wide Base Piston T-Seals are designed specifically to replace standard O-rings and back-up rings in MIL-5514F glands. T-seals use a resilient sealing element supported by back-up rings to help resist spiral failure and extrusion, providing reliable dynamic piston sealing at higher pressures than standard O-rings. The intermediate base (-1) retrofits a 1 O-ring / 1 back-up ring gland, while the wide base (-2) retrofits a 1 O-ring / 2 back-up ring gland.
