HPSI

Hytrel U-Seal Back-Up Rings are made from 55 Shore D Hytrel® and provide high strength and abrasion resistance for demanding, high-pressure applications where seal extrusion is a concern. Designed as back-up rings for U-seals, they can be used with NU homogeneous nitrile U-cups or O-rings when required. Hytrel® provides a durable alternative to urethane and, in some applications, PTFE back-up rings while fitting the same groove dimensions.
