The polyester DH wiper is made from a 55 shore D material selected for its superior abrasion resistance. It is the same design as the urethane DH wiper with a crush lip on the shoulder for added interference in the groove, a ribbed inner diameter to control pressure traps between the wiper and rod seal, and a bead on the shoulder to prevent contaminants from entering through the groove. This hydrolysis resistant wiper is ideal for heavy duty applications where a lower coefficient of friction and/or a more durable material for exclusion is needed.
